Mövenpick Hotel Sukhumvit 15 Bangkok Review 2025 – Family Comfort in the Heart of the City

Bangkok’s energy is infectious – but when travelling with children, finding a peaceful yet central base is essential. Our family found exactly that at Mövenpick Hotel Sukhumvit 15 Bangkok. It is a stylish, family-friendly retreat. It is tucked away from the city’s chaos yet close to everything you need.

📍 Location & Getting Around

The hotel is located on a quiet side street just off Sukhumvit Road. It is around a 10-minute walk from both Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT stations. This makes exploring Bangkok straightforward, even with little legs in tow.

For extra convenience, the hotel runs a free tuk‑tuk shuttle to the main road every half hour from 10am to 8pm — a novelty our children loved.

Nearby transport hubs:

  • 🚆 Asok BTS Station – 10 minutes on foot
  • 🚇 Sukhumvit MRT Station – 10 minutes on foot

🍽️ Dining & Chocolate Hour – Family Favourites

The onsite Lelawadee Restaurant is open 24/7, serving a mix of Thai and Mediterranean dishes to suit all tastes. Breakfast is served from 6am. If you have an early start, you can ask for a boxed breakfast to take with you.

Our family loved the breakfast spread – fluffy pancakes, fresh tropical fruit, noodles, pastries, and eggs cooked to order. Staff were wonderfully accommodating with child‑sized portions and special requests.

A signature Mövenpick treat is the daily Chocolate Hour (4–5pm at Lelawadee), open to all guests. It’s a fun, indulgent ritual featuring bite‑sized chocolate creations and decadent desserts – a sweet way to pause between adventures.

🌇 Rooftop Pool & Chill Spaces

The rooftop pool is small but scenic, with shaded loungers and a calm vibe. Great for a quick splash before dinner. The Rainforest Rooftop Bar next door is perfect for unwinding once the kids are tucked in.
