🏨 First Impressions

The atmosphere is lively yet welcoming. The lobby is bright and modern. Staff greet you with warm smiles. The children loved the colourful décor. Check‑in was quick. We were given wristbands that double as room keys — a fun and practical touch.

On arrival, we also received tokens. The number of tokens you get depends on your room type and how many rooms you’ve booked. You can use them in the playroom or for a discount on food inside the Vana Nava Water Jungle.

🛏️ Our Stay – King Standard Mountain View (Upgraded to Ocean View)

We originally booked King Standard Mountain View rooms. On arrival, we were delighted to be upgraded to Ocean View. Each room had a private balcony with stunning views of the Gulf of Thailand. Perfect for morning coffee. Ideal for evening wind‑downs.

The rooms were spacious and well‑equipped:

  • Walk‑in showers
  • Soft and firm pillows
  • Blackout curtains
  • Mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities

Travelling with younger children? Choose a Suite Room or Kid Suite. Kid Suites have bunk beds, themed décor, and play areas. They make bedtime part of the adventure.

For larger families, the 3‑Bedroom Kids Theme Suite is a winner. It has separate sleeping zones for parents, teens, and little ones.

💦 Vana Nava Water Jungle – Unlimited Access

The highlight is unlimited access to Vana Nava Water Jungle. It’s Asia’s first Holiday Inn water park resort. The park connects directly to the hotel. You can come and go as you please.

It features:

  • Giant slides and splash zones
  • Lazy river and wave pool
  • Toddler‑friendly play areas
  • Lockers, towels, and lifeguards

Our children were in heaven. We relaxed poolside with cocktails while they played safely.

🧒 Bryde’s Kids Club & Family Fun

The Bryde’s Kids Club is packed with activities, from arts and crafts to interactive games. There’s also a Games Room with arcade machines and a chill-out zone for older kids. Staff were attentive and genuinely great with children.

Pro tip: Compare prices for two King Standard Ocean View rooms against a Kids Suite. Sometimes, the suite is surprisingly good value. This is especially true in off-peak seasons.
